Our cabin rental experience on Lake Wapogasset in Amery, WI.

We had an amazing time enjoying all the natural beauty and fun activities the area had to offer. Lake Wapogasset is known for its excellent fishing, so it's no surprise that this was one of the main activities we were looking forward to. We rented a fishing boat from a local outfitter and spent a day out on the lake trying our luck. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including bass, walleye, and musky, so there was always the possibility of catching something big. Even when we weren't out on the boat, we still had plenty of opportunities to fish right from the dock of our cabin rental. It was a great way to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while trying to catch some dinner. We had some luck with bluegill and crappie, which we later cooked up on the grill.

There's nothing quite like sitting around a campfire with family and friends, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. We made sure to have a campfire every night in the back yard of our cabin rental. The stars were bright, and the air was cool, making for the perfect atmosphere to unwind and connect with each other.

The area around Lake Wapogasset is full of beautiful hiking trails, and we took advantage of as many as we could during our stay. One of our favorites was the Ice Age Trail, which winds through the glacial landscapes of northern Wisconsin. We also enjoyed hiking in the nearby state parks and forests, where we saw all kinds of wildlife and breathtaking views.

No family vacation is complete without some good old-fashioned grilling. We made sure to stock up on all our favorite meats and veggies and fired up the grill almost every night. It was a great way to bond over food and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.
